The D Sound Sessions 2015

This record, to be released in May 2015 is a compilation of songs written and arranged by Maryann Fennimore, Cristiano Urbani, and Dario Pimpolari.  The record features the live sound of “Mary and the Strays” as you would hear them at their live shows in Rome and beyond. The concept behind the record was to give the listener a voyeuristic ear into the studio, where the trio worked to create heartfelt and authentic performances of songs without the polish of studio perfection. “The D Sound Sessions” aims to break down the barrier of technological over production and in so doing create an intimate listening experience that honors the essence of the songs. The record will be available for purchase through digital download only, and there will be three bonus tracks available for download directly from the Mary and the Strays website.
